Remember to vote in the November 3 election!
The following applies to Massachusetts voters:
Voting by mail is available to all voters for all elections in 2020.
You do not need an excuse to vote by mail this year.
If there's any possibility that you might end up unwell or are concerned by the public exposure of voting in person, you should apply for an early ballot as soon as possible but no later than October 28 for the
November 3 election.
Applications, if not received in the mail, are here.
Completed applications can be mailed or placed in the dropbox outside your Town Hall (Becket or Washington).
Even after requesting (but not returning) an early ballot, if you decide to vote in person, you can do so! Otherwise, to be counted, your early ballot must be mailed adhering to the deadlines below OR dropped in the dropbox outside your Town Hall up until 8pm on each election day.
State election ballots need to be postmarked no later than November 3 and must be back at your local election office no later than November 6.
Apply early, in order to have enough time to receive and return your ballot.
You can track your ballot's location at TrackMyBallotMA.com.
Due to the anticipated numbers of votes to be cast by mail this year, we should all expect and appreciate that in order to properly process and tally these votes, election results will take more time than we're accustomed to, perhaps days or weeks longer!
