As part of their community outreach, BHS is partnering with local libraries to host a community read of Being Mortal by Atul Gawande. Topics like aging, serious illness, and end-of-life care are often faced in isolation. This book offers a thoughtful way to open that conversation and bring the community together around it. An NP from Berkshire Health Systems Palliative Care Team will be joining us at the library to share perspective and local resources connected to the work and themes of the book.
